Can you prove that Christianity is true?

Have you ever had someone challenge you to prove the truthfulness of the gospel scientifically? Some people believe that the ultimate truth test is science. In actuality, science and the scientific method are built upon philosophical assumptions. The reliability of observation, repetitive results and the predictability of future outcomes are all assumptions that make up the scientific method. These assumptions are part of a philosophy known as “Empiricism”. The scientific method however, has its limitations. It cannot account for or “prove” phenomena outside of its parameters. Emotions, historical events, miracles and truth claims are examples of the phenomena that cannot be proven or disproven by science.
Christianity rests upon the life, death and resurrection of Jesus Christ. Every aspect of His person, work and message is outside the scope of the scientific method for evaluation. In order to prove Christianity…
