God has made Himself known to us in Jesus Christ
Galatians 1:11-12
11 I want you to know, brothers and sisters, that the gospel I preached is not of human origin. 12 I did not receive it from any man, nor was I taught it; rather, I received it by revelation from Jesus Christ.
Everything God wanted us to know about Himself, He has revealed to us in Jesus Christ. Jesus is the image of the invisible God. Jesus is the exact representation of the Father. Jesus is God in a human body, He is the God-Man. (Colossians 1:15, Hebrews 1:1-4, John 1:1-18)
If you want to know what God is like, look at Jesus. To know Jesus is to know God. Today are you looking to Jesus? Are you growing closer to God by pursuing Jesus Christ? Paul said in Philippians 3:7-8, “7 But whatever were gains to me I now consider loss for the sake of Christ. 8 What is more, I consider everything a loss because of the surpassing worth of knowing Christ Jesus my Lord, for whose sake I have lost all things. I consider them garbage, that I may gain Christ”
