What we think about matters. Our minds affect our hearts and our actions. Consider the following truths about our minds:
The kind of mind we need to avoid
James 4:8
Come near to God and he will come near to you. Wash your hands, you sinners, and purify your hearts, you double-minded.

Titus 1:15
To the pure, all things are pure, but to those who are corrupted and do not believe, nothing is pure. In fact, both their minds and consciences are corrupted.

The mind of sinful man is death, but the mind controlled by the Spirit is life and peace.

9. A Lawful mind
We need to surrender our lives and our minds to the Lordship of Jesus Christ. We need to continually seek to have our minds renewed by the Word of God and the power of the Holy Spirit. A changed mind leads to a changed life!
