2 Corinthians 3:17-18
“But where the Spirit of the Lord is there is freedom. And we all with unveiled faces are beholding and reflecting as in a mirror the glory of the Lord, we are being transformed into that same image, from glory to glory, even by the Lord, the Spirit.”
According to Eph. 4:17-24, Livin’ Large means that we live differently from the world. Living differently involves putting off the old self, putting on the new self and continually being renewed. Spiritual renewal can only be accomplished through the ministry of the Holy Spirit. The Spirit “transforms” us into the very glory of God that He reveals about Himself. As we seek the Lord, meditate on His Word and surrender to the Spirit’s control, God changes us, He renews us, He transforms us by His Spirit.
Living Differently means we live a Spirit filled life. This life is experienced as we continually experience inner spiritual transformation produced by the Holy Spirit.
Ask the Holy Spirit to fill your life. Spend time daily in God’s Word, reading and meditating on His truth. Ask the Holy Spirit to use the truth to set you free and change your life. Authentic spiritual life is produced by the Holy Spirit. He enables us to live differently and that’s Livin’ Large!
